Project Description
In collaboration with DR Arhitekti and Palast Architects, we proudly secured 1st Place in the competition for the renovation of the Saeima House - the Latvian Parliament building. The winning entry was selected by an almost unanimous jury vote.
The task for this competition was to improve the energy efficiency of the building and introduce modern environmental accessibility solutions, respecting the principles of universal design, as well as expanding the public space. At the same time, the Saeima House must balance classical, traditional values with modern accents and technological solutions, providing a working environment that meets current requirements.
The complete design work for the building's renovation is scheduled to begin within the next two years. The final deadline for the reconstruction and restoration of the Saeima building has been extended to December 31, 2030. The government has also outlined the annual allocation of the project's budget, ensuring that the total funding remains unchanged at €34,083,692.
